Strain is the journal the EURASEM. It contains papers and technical notes on leading edge research in the area of experimental solid mechanics. The journal includes papers from all engineering disciplines that deal with material behaviour and degradation under load, with structural design and with measurement techniques. Although the thrust of the journal is experimental, numerical simulations and validation are included in the coverage.
Papers on multidisciplinary research are encouraged:
Application based papers with particular relevance to industry are welcome, for this purpose shorter 'technical note' style articles are encouraged. Papers that describe new approaches to education and training in strain measurement are also encouraged.
