Technical Committees
The technical committees are in charge of the scientific animation within EURASEM. They are instrumental in the organisation
of technical meetings and help with the scientific organisation of the ICEM conferences.
Presently, EURASEM runs 8 technical committees.
- High strain rate and impact testing (Chairman: Prof. Joris DEGRIECK, BE)
- Mechanical characterization (Chairman: Prof. Carmine PAPPALETTERE, IT)
- Optical fibre sensors (Chairman: Prof. John BOTSIS, CH)
- Photomechanics (Chairmen: Profs. Michel GREDIAC (FR) and Jon. M. HUNTLEY (GB))
- Structural integrity and health monitoring (Chairman: Werner DAUM, DE)
- Testing at micro and nano scales (Chairwoman: Prof. Leslie BANKS-SILLS, IL)
- Testing of biological tissues and soft matter (Chairman: to be announced)
- Time dependent materials (Chairman: Prof. Igor EMRI, SI)
